I love creating stories; it is my hobby, and one that I hope I will enjoy for the rest of my life. Though I often write during daylight hours, I prefer to put pen to paper or fingers on keyboard at sunset.
During the past week, I’ve returned to the old ways: to the days when Lisa was alive. When writing a new story, I didn’t use my laptop. The old fashioned way is easier if a little slower. The story flows much better, and only rarely do I make mistakes. On the other hand, when the mood takes me, I use the laptop. Generally during daylight hours. This is when I make typos: missing punctuation, especially question marks and closing quotes, short words, (a, at, to and so on).
The Eldern Journals are complex covering thousands of years from the day Morag created Inyaña and Dai, to the rise of the Elderns and demise of humankind.
So who are the seven Elderns? Inyaña, Dai, Sa’ida were “created” by Morag while Juan Zuria, Brae, Pilar and Cæsar are Morag’s children. The youngest, and eighth Eldern, is Sapphire’s daughter named Lorea. On the day Sa’ida abandoned Morag, two new souls were created. An Eldern (Oscar Agirre) and Sophia Badoer, mother of Sapphire and Jaime Agirre.
Although my first two books were published, they are no longer live on Amazon. I decided to rewrite the books. When the time is right, I will published them on Amazon KDP.
In future, I intend writing “stand alone” novels of approx. 50,000 words. While I intended published a book of Short Stories entitled “How Bizarre”, plans changed. All these stories are now on my website.
I am currently researching triangles (similar to the Bermuda triangle); legends of a city buried beneath a mile of ice in Antarctica; the Arctic legends; North and South poles. I have yet to decide on a title and how the story will unfold, but the beginning was written during the first lockdown. There is no doubt that this will change beyond recognition as did The Eldern Journals (new title: The Elderns).
I am currently reading a book by Paul Anthony Wallis, “Escaping from Eden. Absolutely fascinating. The question asked is: Does Genesis teach that the human race was created by God or engineering by ETs. Right now, I opt for the latter.
